• since October 2017: Senior researcher in the Computational Imaging Group at the Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica, Amsterdam.
• since September 2014: Research associate at the Center for Medical Image Computing (CMIC) at the Department of Computer Science, University College London (UCL) (since 2021 as an honorary appointment).
• 2013: Research visit to UCLA, Los Angeles. Invitation by Andrea Bertozzi and Stanley Osher.
• 2011-2014 PhD student in the Working Group Imaging, Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics, WWU Münster, by a scholarship of the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes)
• March 2011: Diploma thesis in applied mathematics with topic "Hierarchical Bayesian Approaches to the Inverse Problem of EEG/MEG Current Density Reconstruction"
